"Lots of choices."
She cooked it in this Crock Pot on low heat overnight while we slept. Worked the first use, but will have to see over time, based on some reviews. The salmon was perfect and so yummy! Works fine, but now, with this one, i have the best of both worlds. UPDATED- So I finally got the 6QT and oh. You can get the whole place smelling good and the food comes out perfectly cooked. She left it here when she moved into a place of her own.

It will hold slightly more but the lid would then touch the liquid. A few questions right out of the box that we are still waiting on. Eventually, though, there was a sale, and I bought one. Just had to order a stainless 3 qt. Worked the first use, but will have to see over time, based on some reviews. I have used this Crock-Pot a dozen times since writing my review. I'm used to cook once a week for 5 days, you call it meal prep.

This is my third purchase of this product. It's function is mostly for traveling and sealing after, I guess. At the time, it was just my wife and I and our two-year-old daughter. No longer a large family to cook for. It gets substantially hotter on one lower end than the other. And I have FIVE portions of leftovers instead of the 1-2 I had with the smaller I. The first was programable, but didn't have a locking lid.

After 7 months with it, I am desperate to trade my 3Qt for the 6QT. It is also more aesthetically pleasing, if that matters at all. Just go for the 6Qt and make your life much easier. She also made larger meals that easily fed our entire family. Of course a good-cooking- level would be between 7 and 8 quarts. I've even baked banana bread in it! A few questions right out of the box that we are still waiting on.

Warmer feature is super and it does not appear to be too hot. I bought the 3 qt mini for use in our camping trailer. Back to your regular programming with the original review. It's function is mostly for traveling and sealing after, I guess. Even so, I purchased a third because it does perform well overall. This one is plenty large enough and incredibly easy to use. They're all for 6QT, not a lot for 3QT.

And the people upstairs kept asking what smelled so great. I was a little hesitant to purchase this crockpot after seeing a few bad reviews. It's a perfect size for just the wife and myself. Say whatever you want about the instant pot and my reply is who wants instant food! This gives me enough for 4 or 5 servings. Maybe that's nitpicky but that's my honest review! Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system.

Of course a good-cooking- level would be between 7 and 8 quarts. Should things change, I most definitely will update. However, I ended up dragging it home and using it there. No longer a large family to cook for. This Crock-Pot holds a LOT of food! I had read they were dishwasher safe, but not 100% as they might keep flavors. Eventually, though, there was a sale, and I bought one.

ADs don't work on me and this also didn't. Worked the first use, but will have to see over time, based on some reviews. I have had it for 2 years and still works perfectly. And the lid's diameter is slightly smaller than a complete tight fit. I had never really used a crockpot before and it was super easy to set up and use. I'm used to cook once a week for 5 days, you call it meal prep. I don't know if that's a glitch or the way it is designed.

Back to your regular programming with the original review. Love this size and not too heavy to wash for an old lady with arthritic hands. I've used it more than a handful of times already, and haven't had any issues. Great to make soups as 3 qts is enough for the day w pleanty of leftovers.

It WOULD if we locked it while cooking, but that's a no-no. Just go for the 6Qt and make your life much easier. - Five minutes painting on some sauce and letting everything sizzle on the grill. This Crock-Pot holds a LOT of food! Of course I said an old family recipe handed down. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. Still waiting to hear back from the manufactirer on both questions.
